what the..

Okay, so here I am checking my Sydney Uni email account and sitting in my inbox were emails from Triona and Vikki requesting my contact info. So I followed the link to this huge address database and at the bottom, it asked me to enter a username. So I entered "Ching"...it's taken. Okay, so I entered "Chingers", my fav nickname...it's also taken. Okay, so I entered "Chingster", not my fav nickname but whatever, it's also taken. Who the hell is Ching, Chingers and Chingster?? I would like to know!

To Do List

Here's my "reading week" to do list:

1. Book appointment with Student Health Services...gotta find out if I have an ungoing ulcer.
2. Book appointment with Dr. Partlow to go over graduation plans and other important stuff I rather not deal with.
3. Get signature from Ms. Adomait so I can finally OFFICIALLY declare Business Administrations as my minor. And here I am telling people I'm already in this minor since the first week in first year...
4. Get the exhibit together for College Royal exhibit, including:
- Shop for art supplies in T.O.
- Painting two giant portraits of king & queen in College Royal colours (silver & navy)
- Put together a display illuminating the health & lifestyle of famous royalties throughout history
- Put together "Save the Princess" (from her illness) game
- Figure out the rest of the room decorations and what to include from previous exhibits.
5. Get resume together to submit to McNeil Consumer Healthcare...I hate labs, but if you pay me enough, I will work in one.
6. Get my website together( I've been making some progress).
7. Contact group members of my research course and (hopefully) decide on a topic to pursue.
8. Contact Epidemiologist from Health Canada for see if she can take me on for my summer research project.
9. Cosplay hunting in T.O.
10. Model for Bron so she can complete her portfolio application to Sheridan College.
11. Write a request to close my bank account in Australia...yeah...I probably should get on this one!
12. Research more on pursuing Pharmacoeconomics as a career.
13. Get together with Elizabeth.
14. Shop for stilettos (even if they kill me, I'll die looking good!)

New!

I've added "101 things about me" section, it's underneath the tagboard.

I've been trying so hard to hold out putting it up...until Reading Week comes around, cause ya know, I have time to waste on stuff like this.

I'm studying...no really!

Okay, so here I am typing away, making notes from my Marketing textbook. It's a good thing I read my textbook oh so carefully, because it asked me to visit www.theaxeeffect.com.

I'm glad I did.

Here's what the website suggested as my perfect girl and how to get her:

"You have selected Japanese woman with tongue that can tie cherry stem in knot wearing chocolate sauce bikini who will come on to you in Museum of Natural History, reptile exhibit "like E. coli on a bus station hamburger." Japanese woman will rip off everything but her cowboy hat, invite you to lick whipped cream off her stomach, then work her magic until you suffer from delusions of being an ancient Roman emporer.

Your match is TSUNAMI. Spray Axe TSUNAMI under your arms and across your chest every day, and soon you will meet your customized dream girl."

eYO!

hey.

Still alive here.

I went to the CSAHS(that's College of Social and Applied Human Sciences) Careers night yesterday. Technically, I'm not a student of that college, but since they've got people like the President/CEO of St.Michael's Hosipital in Toronoto and other Economists working in the Health sector, I decided that it was worth checking out.

And it was worth it indeed.

I've decided that I should seriously consider going into Pharmacoeconomics (sounds impressive doesn't it?) for a career, or do my post-grad degree in it. It was just so exciting talking to an economist who works along side doctors and other health care professionals to solve the economic issues of particular drugs or treatments. This field will allow me to utilize my basic science background and apply it in a business setting.

Research Night (an info night for student taking research courses) also happened to be last night.
I gotta tell ya, I have absolutely minimal interest in conducting scientific research! I was so lost and bored listening to the profs talking about their research projects. I really don't care about the biomechanics of how a horse runs, I really don't care how ionchannels in muscles effect athletic performance, I was really grossed out by all the graphics of cancer lesions in Pathology so I'm staying away from cancer research... Mainwhile, I have to take a 1.0 credit points research course this summer semester. God help me!

And the research literature course I'm taking this semester is nothing but a giant pain in the ass.

So to sum it up, my ideal job is to tell the researchers, who have slaved away their lives doing benchwork, if their resulting treatment is economically viable.
